to celebrate Phil's birthday. Great people, conversation, wine, and snacks. Yum.

Saturday in Yorkville

Scott & I met up with Catherine Tammaro & Phil Ogison on Saturday afternoon to attend Alice Teichert's opening at Gallery One on Scollard Street. Her paintings are gorgeous: exquisitely composed with intriguing images, arresting textures and brilliant use of colour. I look forward to reading the copy of j'eux that I picked up from Alice and, especially, to seeing more of her work.





After a snack at The Coffee Mill, Scott & I headed over to the Manulife Centre to see Manufactured Landscapes at the Varsity. A difficult film to sit through, but an important one. Visit the Mongrel Media website to see the trailer.
