I've been thinking a lot about the ethics of art-making lately.
I'm taking a closer look at the fibres I'm using and exploring sustainable
and cruelty-free options. I didn't give much thought to these issues
when I was focused solely on writing poetry. My
obsession
with embroidery shows no signs of abating, though, and
it's opened up a whole new range of ideas to wrestle with.
To that end, I've started working on burlap and sourcing green yarns.....
